OUR STORY
The Theta Alpha Sigma Greater Legacy Foundation, Inc. was officially established on April 15, 2024 by the eights Sorors of the Theta Alpha Sigma Alumnae Chapter: Ashley Dyer, Kayla Edwards, Leslie Farrior, Terrika Foster-Brasby, Marie Gordon-Hall, Stacey-Ann Lewis, Tesia Stewart and Michelle Wortham.
The Theta Alpha Sigma Greater Legacy Foundation, Inc. serves as the non-profit charitable arm of the Theta Alpha Sigma Greater Hartford Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Our purpose is to support the chapter’s annual initiatives, including providing scholarships annually to local college-bound high school seniors, offering leadership training and mentorship to Greater Hartford youth and supporting local programming efforts that focus on health, wellness, and community enrichment.
We are a leading charitable organization dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of those in need. Our mission is to provide support and resources to empower communities and individuals, fostering hope and sustainable change. Through our philanthropic efforts, we aim to address societal challenges and create a legacy of compassion and generosity that transcends generations.
